Aspen Harmony Cultural Immersion Iberia
Aspen Harmony is not a tour company or a travel agency. We are a group of scholars and travel enthusiasts, logistical and cultural experts available for hire on a short term freelance basis for educational purposes only. We organize experiential learning activities for individuals, groups, high school and university students, churches and businesses and are available for public speaking events on current research. Our days pass in diverse contexts: within urban settings, at family run farms, along pilgrimage routes, at wineries, in monasteries, in nature, pushing our physical limits, with locals and with those in need. We provide the opportunity for you to be immersed and connected to the land and diverse cultures of Spain in an ethically orientated way, and continuously look for ways to giveback to the community and nature. We also love to document our travels through photography if one desires!
Our activities, local interactions, and the businesses we operate with are carefully chosen to reflect our sensitivity to the culture and the natural environment. We strive to stimulate rural economies, preserve cultural heritage, traditions, & serve communities through volunteerism. We have schedules but don't follow them strictly so that genuine experiences come about naturally. Our diets are balanced and healthy throughout our journey. You will come away from these days with a better understanding of the natural environment, diverse languages and people, local customs and traditions, and in that process emerges hopefully a better understanding of yourself and your place in the world.
